Tailored guidance and support optimizing a pet’s overall well-being through proper dietary choices.
Whether your pet is carrying too much or too little weight, our team can help you make sure they have the proper diet to be as healthy as possible. During a nutritional counselling session, you will meet with one of our veterinarians to explain any dietary problems your pet may be experiencing. Then, after an exam, we will provide you with a nutritional plan catered specifically to your pet’s needs. Recommendations on feeding schedules/types, exercise, formulas/brands, serving sizes and more will be made. Call us at 613-695-2060 to learn more.
If your pet is overweight or underweight, it may be time to seek our advice. That being said, even pets in perfect health can still benefit from nutritional counselling so they can have the best fuel possible to support their development. In addition, if you are considering putting your pet on a new diet (e.g. gluten-free, Bones and Raw Food) we strongly suggest you ask for our veterinarians’ opinion so you can proceed safely.
At different stages of their life (e.g. puppyhood, adulthood, senior) your pet will need different types of nutrition to boost their development. Certain species, breeds, and pets with pre-existing health conditions may also have unique dietary needs. Ensuring your pet is fed properly usually requires more than just following instructions on the packaging of their food. We can help you sift through the vast amount of information out there so your pet has a solid diet that may also prevent them from developing diabetes, joint problems and other issues.
