Crystal

Crystal graduated from the Veterinary Technician program, at Algonquin College in 2005. She has practiced throughout Ontario, and managed a small business, before joining the excellent team at Bank Street Animal Hospital in May of 2024.

Crystal grew up in a small village, surrounded by farmland, in the Ottawa Valley. Throughout childhood her pets included hamsters, rats, snakes, a rabbit, a bird, cats, dogs, and a hedgehog. After Co-oping in a small animal clinic for two years throughout high school, and admiring patient care, she knew Veterinary technology was her calling.

She enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of not only animals, but also their owners. Crystal loves the rewarding, fast paced environment of being a technician, and appreciates her team. She has a passion for client education, preventive care, and dentistry.

Crystal lives with her excitable, and silly Aussie/Border collie, named Ellie, as well as a sweet Cockatiel, named Beaker. Outside of work you can find her spending quality time with her family, trying new recipes, going for long walks, camping, fishing down by the river, listening to music, or improvising at her piano.
