What happens during a physical exam?
Our Registered Veterinary Technicians will greet you and see you and your pet into an exam room. The RVT will start with taking note of your concerns, and obtain important vitals from your pet. If any abnormalities or injuries are found, the RVT will be there to triage and alert the veterinarian of urgent concerns.
When your veterinarian comes in, he will do a thorough exam of all your pet’s major systems, from nose to tail. He will address any particular concerns you may have, and discuss next steps – whether that be vaccinations, diagnostics, treatments, or dietary recommendations.
What do we recommend at an annual visit?
An annual visit should include a thorough physical exam; a fecal test; and discussion of any changes you’ve noted over the past year (ex. weight, behaviour), any vaccines or deworming that are relevant to your pet’s lifestyle, any blood tests or dental cleanings necessary, and any supplementary products your pet might use.

Wonderful service and care for all the animals under their care! Dr. Kamran and his team are professional, skilled, experienced, kind and compassionate. They go above and beyond every time both both the animals and their owners. Thank you so much for all you do! I would highly recommend Bank St. Animal Hospital.
