Dr Kamran Jahangir, DVM
Dr. Kamran has been working in Veterinary Medicine since 2001. He works in Internal Medicine and Surgery of dogs, cats, small birds, and rodents. His field of interest is soft tissue surgery.
He was brought up with many different pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, parrots, and a falcon. He lives with his wife, two children, and canaries.
Dr Jay Mengi, DVM
Dr Jay has been working in Veterinary Medicine since 2012. He works in Internal Medicine and Surgery of dogs and cats. He has a particular interest in preventive medicine. Dr Jay came to BSAH after working in the northern parts of Ontario for a few years, and brings with him new approaches to common ailments.
He shares his home with his wife and two small dogs, Marble and Mia (pictured).
Dr. Rosetta Parker
Dr. Rosetta Parker has been working in veterinary medicine since 2014. She was born and raised in Nova Scotia and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island. Now living in Eastern Ontario with her husband Russ, dog Allie, and three cats. Dr. Parker enjoys travelling and volunteering her time with Spay/Neuter programs in Central America. Her passion is helping families keep their fur babies healthy and preventative medicine.
Amy Greenberg, RVT (Practice Manager)
Amy graduated from Algonquin College, with honours, and became registered with the OAVT in 2012, She spent a few years working as a locum technician, before coming to BSAH. She works with local rescue organizations for dogs with behavioural issues. Her passions lie with canine behaviour modification, exotic pets, and helping homeless animals.
Amy lives with her husband, Doberman, a variety reptiles (pictured is Cricket, a Hogg Island Boa), and the occasional scaled/feathered/furred foster critter.
Danielle Valiquet, RVT
Danielle graduated from St Lawrence College with an Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Technology in 2015, and obtained her OAVT registration in 2015. She has a knack for working with tiny puppy and kitty veins, and a talent for calming stressed pets.
Danielle is owned by a sassy cat named Rayna (pictured).
Lauren Lauzon ( RVT)
Lauren grew up in the small town of Harrow, Ontario surrounded by her big
family and many different pets from geckos to ducks and hamsters. She
graduated the Veterinary Technician program at Northern College in 2015 and
became a Register Veterinary Technician. Because of her passion for
wildlife welfare and conservation she went back to school and completed her
advanced diploma to become a Veterinary Technologist with a specialization
in Wildlife Rehabilitation. Pocket pets also hold a special place in her
heart and she has a half-lop dwarf bunny named Aurora who is the boss of
the house and frequently completes with Mike, Lauren's partner, for

About our Registered Veterinary Technicians
Our Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) are an integral part of the team caring for your pet. RVTs perform many duties at Bank Street Animal Hospital, including intake exams, preparing and administering medications and fluids, monitoring anesthesia, performing dental cleanings, obtaining blood samples, running laboratory tests, assisting in surgeries, obtaining radiographs, and communicating with clients. All of our RVTs have graduated from an OAVT-accredited program, and have passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination to become registered in Canada.
